“It’s hard to win an argument with a smart person, but it’s damn near impossible to win an argument with a stupid person.” -Bill Murray
Or, thanks to Hank Sims of Lost Coast Outpost, you can get it this other way, which you might like better because it offers an instant-play option and isn’t surrounded by confusing flashing ads.
A little longer than usual, as these shows go, but the nice thing about getting the recording after the fact is that, if something bugs you, or you already know everything you can stand about this or that atrocity or scientific marvel, or an entire category of human experience just gets right on your top note, you can skip ahead five minutes or so and find yourself sitting in the kind of pudding you like.
Then, besides all that, here are links to a few not necessarily radio-useful but otherwise worthwhile items that I set aside for you while putting the show together, found mostly thanks to the fine websites listed to your right:
The MTM kitten is dead.
Brilliant puppetmaker and one of his puppets.
Happy Asian signage.
Impersonating to understand.
She loves it so much. Ow.
Just checking, and… still true. Find the others.
Bad lip reading inauguration.
Side-scrolling 66-foot-long panoramic painting of Wellington’s funeral procession.
Sebastian Adams’ 1881 scroll of human history. Too bad about the web presentation, though.
The fabulous Golden Sahara II. What do you suppose happened to the Golden Sahara I?
A gallon and a half of artistic blood.
Further Kangding Ray. (These Are My Rivers.)
Trumpcare: Economix Comix.
“Not to put too fine a point on it, but AAAAAAUUUUGHGH!” First, these messages.
And Sorority Girls from Hell.
