“Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur. Happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr purr purr.”

Here’s the recording of last night’s (2018-09-21) KNYO and KMEC Memo of the Air: Good Night Radio show ready to enjoy. (Left-click for instant-play. Right-click to download.) And thanks to Hank Sims of Lost Coast Outpost here’s a page with the latest show and also other ones going back about a couple of years. And you can always go to Links To Recorded Audio, see above, and rollerskate up and down narrow aisles lined with painstakingly preserved specimens of even earlier work. Contemplate. Nostalgicate.

The old-time radio show I played at the end this time is /The Cat Wife/ from Arch Oboler’s /Lights Out Everybody/ series. It’s creepy and disturbing on so many levels. A 1936 masterpiece.

Besides all that, here are links to a few maybe not radio-useful but worthwhile items that I set aside for you while gathering the show together, found mostly thanks to the fine websites listed to your right:

The Terror of Tiny Town.

They took a sample of my pasta.

How and why to build a moon base.

An old man remembering jazz. (Depending on your browser/system you might or might not have to click to actually /play/ the video, and you might or might not have to click on the audio icon to turn the sound on once it’s playing. Standardization is for sissies.)

Young ladies remembering jazz.

Rick and Morty reimagined as Japanime (say j’PAN-uh-may).

Anime trailer for original Star Wars.

That’d better be toothpaste. Smell it before you put it in your mouth. It could be anything. If it’s Brylcreem, for example, or caulk, or cortisone, lithium grease, paint, pipe-thread dressing or brass polish, bleagh.×506.jpg

“There ya go, that’s all yours and there’s a bag (!) and you guys’ve been sumpin else. That’s our show, ladies and gentlemen…”

They’ll be tryin’ out Bevos, they’ll be tryin’ out Cubebs, they’ll be tryin’ out tailor-mades like cigaret fiends. I think it’s clever that they named a bovine creature Bevo.

Curve-fitting methods.

The mold you can’t see.

“Um, yass, well, it’s been some time since I last visited the Anderson Valley, a bucolic sliver of coastal Mendocino County, where Pacific fogs glide through the towering California redwoods, playing cat and mouse with the rising sun.” /Oh, for fuck sake. It’s spoiled fruit juice. It causes regrettable behavior, blurred vision, vomiting, addiction, car accidents and cancer./

And ten paintings of Judith beheading Holofernes (say holla-fer-NEZ).
